Seizure

Eviction

Like many property owners, you may have to put an end to some of your leases that are not respected. Unfortunately, this is a sad reality and some type of intervention needs to be established.

When a judge of the Rental Board gives a favorable decision to an owner asking for the cancellation of a lease, the tenant is obliged to leave the premises. If the latter does not respect the deadline, the plaintiff must call upon a bailiff.

Ricci-Teasdale has a team of experienced bailiffs who will enforce such a decision issued by the legal authorities. Our bailiffs may issue and serve on the defendant (tenant) an execution notice, which he or she must comply with within 5 days.

If, however, the defendant persists in not leaving the premises, the bailiff is called upon to enforce the order and proceed to evict the disobedient tenant.
